Trained To Do It Right

Trained and Ready for the Job

When you see a new sign going up, you probably don’t think much about what it takes to get it there. And really, you shouldn’t have to. That’s our job. But behind every installation is a lot of planning, specialized equipment, and a commitment to sign installation safety.

At DC Signs, we take that responsibility seriously. Our team has completed a range of industry-specific certifications and safety training to make sure we’re prepared for whatever a project throws our way. From storefront signs to large-scale installations, every project comes with its own challenges.

Our team’s qualifications include:

  • Alberta Sign Association – Boom truck and sign electrical training.
  • Sign Installation – Specialized crane training through Schram Cranes & Rigging.
  • Fall Protection – Safe practices and equipment for working at heights.
  • Elevated Work Platforms – Training for operating lifts and aerial work equipment.
  • First Aid – Preparedness for workplace injuries and emergencies.
  • WHMIS – Safe handling and use of hazardous materials.
  • WCB Alberta – Workers’ compensation coverage.
  • 3M Pro Shop – Certified expertise in 3M graphics and vehicle wraps (Read more here).

Why It Matters

When you hire a sign company, you’re trusting them to work safely on your property, around your building, and sometimes alongside your employees and customers. Having the right training helps us plan ahead, recognize potential hazards, and approach each installation with confidence.

We’re proud of the signs we make, but we’re just as proud of the people who make them happen. The training and preparation behind the scenes are all part of delivering quality work.
